That is, we'd actually flown into YYC two days earlier to begin our "driving-free" 2-week Western Canada adventure. For convenience we stayed in a nearby airport hotel, from which we could use local public transportation to explore downtown Calgary; we then returned by our hotel's free airport shuttle to catch the Fairy Bus to Banff. That probably diverges from the usual approach to the inter-city transport, but we would recommend that other travelers consider the Fairy Bus as a means…”
